Downstream Process Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Downstream Process Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring chemical production equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our chemical line.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of chemical processes, equipment, and instrumentation. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor chemical production equipment, including pumps, valves, reactors, filters, and control systems.
  • Monitor and test process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow rates, and levels.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities on equipment to ensure their proper functioning.
  • Maintain an organized production area and manage workflow.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Chemical Line Process Operator or similar role within the chemical manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of chemical processes, equipment, and instrumentation.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to chemical handling and manufacturing processes.
