About this role

As an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant, you will play a key role in the continual growth of the company. You will undertake all duties associated with this role, including reconciliation of client accounts and invoices, payroll, ATO requirements, payments, and administrative duties. You will manage stakeholders and maintain a positive client focus.

Committed to quality work and delivering exceptional service for our clients, you will become part of a highly skilled and supportive team. Our office is based in Maroochydore, and there are flexible working options/hours available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts receivable and payable processing with assisted software automation
  • Involvement in payroll and superannuation
  • Month-end and year-end profit reporting (following existing process and procedures)
  • Ad-hoc bookkeeping and finance tasks as required
  • Involvement in team meetings
  • Contribute to team discussions and collaboration for continual process improvement
  • Undertake regular training
  • Administrative duties as required

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualifications in bookkeeping desirable but not essential
  • Well-rounded experience with Xero
  • Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll experience
  • Understanding of Australian tax and GST
  • Great communication skills and ability to build relationships
  • Approachable person that can contribute to discussions and an open, collaborative work culture
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Reliable and punctual
  • A friendly and fun personality are highly valued qualities
