
Senior Care and Support Professional

This role involves overseeing a team of care staff, empowering them through learning, support and leadership to advance the level of service to residents.
- As Care Manager, you will work closely with your Residential Services Manager to ensure quality and compliance governance are achieved through robust processes that meet internal and external auditing standards.
- You will have the opportunity to lead and inspire your team, providing supervision, guidance and mentorship through effective decision making and clinical experience.
- The role requires someone who can provide exceptional care while responding to clinical nursing issues and concerns. You will review resident care and care plans promoting independence and quality of life.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with Care Coordinators to provide outstanding care to residents in your service, advocating individualised care that enhances and promotes their quality of life.
- Overseeing a team of care staff, empowering them through learning, support and leadership in order to advance the level of service to your residents.
- Ensuring care governance and quality compliance are achieved through robust processes that meet internal and external auditing standards.
- Sustainability and growth of the service will be ensured through diligence with ACFI funding, care planning and community engagement.
- Bachelor of Nursing, or equivalent qualification
- Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements
- Experience coordinating care provision within a large team
- Confidence to manage conflict, pressures and competing priorities
- Ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship to other team members
- Flexibility to work on call where required
