Job Title: School Psychologist

Are you passionate about supporting students and fostering a safe, inclusive school environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist to join our Counselling Team.

About the Role

The School Psychologist will play a vital role in promoting academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of students through psychological guidance and support. This position works closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to help students thrive.

This is a part-time (0.6FTE) term time only, ongoing position commencing as soon as possible. The successful candidate will work predominantly with Senior School students but will also have involvement with the Junior School.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive and responsive support to students navigating various social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
  • Work closely with the School Counselling team and other allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive student support
  • Demonstrate initiative, sound professional judgment, and high level of discretion in addressing issues related to student wellbeing
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant tertiary degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Psychotherapy
  • Registration as a Psychologist by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • A current Employee Working with Children Check
