Job Opportunity
">We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Psychologist to join our Student Support Services team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for providing high-level psychology support services to students in order to improve their learning outcomes.
">In this role, you will work closely with schools and other stakeholders to develop and implement programs and strategies that promote student wellbeing and achievement. You will also be responsible for coordinating the delivery of student support services within a multidisciplinary team environment.
">To be successful in this role, you will require strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others. You will also need to have a strong understanding of student wellbeing issues and the skills and knowledge required to provide effective consultation and advice to schools and other stakeholders.
">The ideal candidate will have a graduate or post-graduate degree in Psychology, and full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA). They will also have experience working in schools and with children and youth, and possess excellent planning and organising skills.
">Required Skills and Qualifications">- Graduate or Post-Graduate Degree in Psychology: You will require a recognized qualification in Psychology in order to be considered for this role.
- Full Registration with AHPRA: You will need to be fully registered with AHPRA in order to practice as a Psychologist.
- Experience Working with Children and Youth: You will require experience working with children and youth in order to be successful in this role.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You will need to possess strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with schools and other stakeholders.
- Strong Understanding of Student Wellbeing Issues: You will require a strong understanding of student wellbeing issues and the skills and knowledge required to provide effective consultation and advice.
