Planned Surgery Coordinator

The key responsibility of this position is to oversee the management of patients on a planned surgery waiting list. This role entails receiving and processing forms, creating and updating records, as well as monitoring patient queries.
- Receive and process forms within a stipulated timeframe.
- Ensure accurate creation, recording, and updating of the Waiting List Screen on the Patient Administration System as required.
- Forward all patient and clinician inquiries to the Surgical Liaison Nurse.
- Monitor Category 1 patients to ensure timely admission within 30 days.
- Oversee Category 2 and 3 patients to ensure timely access to surgery in accordance with category timeframes.
This role necessitates relevant administration experience, working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and current National criminal history checks.
Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate attention to detail.
