Seeking a forward-thinking Procurement Team Lead to drive strategic procurement initiatives, foster team development and lead by example in a dynamic work environment.

About Your Role:

  • Demonstrate exemplary safety practices, commitment, and attitude as a leader within the department
  • Participate in the development and implementation of functional team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead process re-engineering and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) implementation
  • Mentor and guide the Procurement Team in their daily activities and professional development
  • Verify and validate purchase orders in line with business delegation of authority matrix
  • Lead supplier order management, including expediting/rescheduling, tracking Defect-Free Order-to-Delivery (DIFOT) performance and conducting supplier audits

About You:

  • You have a background in procurement leadership, excellent team management skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
  • Adept at process re-engineering, supplier management, and compliance with health, safety, security and environmental policies

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Strong background in developing and implementing KPIs
  • Experience with driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to re-engineer processes and implement SOPs
  • Strong skills in verifying and validating purchase orders
  • Proficient in supplier management, including expediting/rescheduling, managing DIFOT performance and conducting audits
