Procurement Leadership Opportunity

This senior-level position is responsible for spearheading the development and execution of sourcing strategies across multiple categories, driving cost savings, quality, efficiency, and value.

  • Develop comprehensive sourcing plans that align with the organisation's long-term objectives.
  • Execute formal Requests for Proposal (RFPs), evaluate bids, and present award recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and strategic spend management.
  • Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key suppliers.

Key responsibilities include monitoring supplier performance, resolving issues, and fostering long-term partnerships that support business goals. Additionally, the role involves analysing complex procurement and spend data to identify trends, forecast demand, and generate actionable insights. The position also requires overseeing the full contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance, performance, and value optimisation.

As a senior-level professional, this individual will serve as the internal subject matter expert, delivering strategic guidance and category-specific insights to stakeholders across finance, legal, operations, and product development.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years' experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Proven ability to lead complex sourcing initiatives and global supplier engagements.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in Excel and procurement tools such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or Smartsheet is required. Knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier management, contract law, and cost analysis is essential. Experience with sustainable/ethical sourcing and relevant certifications are highly desirable.
