Job Title: Learning and Capability Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Capability Manager to join our People and Culture team at St Joseph's. This is a newly created role that will play a critical part in developing and delivering frameworks, programs, and initiatives that enhance staff performance and capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the development of staff performance and capability frameworks, programs, and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of staff.
  • Develop and implement a data-driven approach to staff engagement and wellbeing.
  • Manage the staff induction program and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new staff members.
  • Design and deliver staff development programs that align with the organization's strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate training programs and build effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to deliver innovative, evidence-based solutions that are tailored to the workplace.
  • Ability to plan and deliver work and projects aligned to strategic objectives.
  • Professional experience in learning and development with expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive training and leadership development programs.
  • Agile with the ability to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in the education sector is highly desirable.
