Leading Fire Protection Engineer

A Senior Fire Protection Engineer with 5-6+ years of experience in delivering projects from concept through to construction completion is required to lead fire protection designs, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and document fire protection systems, including wet and dry systems such as sprinkler systems, fire detection and alarm systems, and hydrant and hose reel systems.
- Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, builders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver integrated design solutions that meet client needs.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC), and local authority requirements, maintaining a strong focus on regulatory adherence.
- Conduct site inspections and work collaboratively with contractors during construction to maintain quality and compliance, upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
- Tertiary qualification in mechanical or Fire Protection engineering (or related discipline), demonstrating expertise in relevant fields.
- Strong knowledge of fire protection systems design, hydraulic calculations, coordination with other services, and an in-depth understanding of relevant codes and standards, enabling effective project delivery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, clear communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative, proactive approach to project delivery, driving success and achieving business objectives.
