Senior Fire Protection Specialist

Transform the built environment with cutting-edge fire protection solutions by spearheading innovative designs from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and document comprehensive fire protection systems, encompassing wet and dry systems, sprinkler systems, fire detection and alarm systems, hydrant and hose reel systems.
- Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, builders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver integrated design solutions that drive results.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC), and local regulatory requirements to guarantee quality and safety.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and collaborate with contractors during construction to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
- Support risk assessments and contribute to strategic fire engineering initiatives to ensure life safety and property protection.
- A tertiary qualification in mechanical or Fire Protection engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in fire protection engineering within the Australian Building Services industry.
- Strong expertise in fire protection systems design, hydraulic calculations, coordination with other services, and an in-depth understanding of relevant codes and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, clear communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative, proactive approach to project delivery.
