About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantum Consultant to join our team at Maxim Recruitment Ltd. As a Quantum Consultant, you will play a key role in providing expert witness services and claims management support to our clients in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement claims and disputes strategies to meet client objectives
  • Assist in undertaking forensic reviews of project records to prepare chronologies of events
  • Manage and prepare construction claims, including variations, extensions of time, disruption claims, acceleration claims, and drafting technical submissions
  • Draft contractual correspondence and provide contract administration and commercial management advice
  • Assist with dispute resolution processes, including mediation, expert determination, and preparing detailed adjudication applications and responses
Requirements
  • Relevant construction industry experience, preferably in claims and disputes management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Experience in managing and preparing construction claims, including variations, extensions of time, disruption claims, and acceleration claims
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with client project teams and legal professionals
  • Desirable qualifications include a degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related construction industry degree or postgraduate qualification, and/or Chartership in the form of MRICS / MInst CES, CEng, PEng or similar
