We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our team at HKA Birmingham. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert support services in construction claims, litigation support, commercial or contractual advisory services to HKA and its clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support services in construction claims, litigation support, commercial or contractual advisory services to HKA and its clients.
  • Be part of our quantum assessment and contract management team.
  • Lead and deliver commissions ensuring commercial and quality outcomes, while strengthening client relationships.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and bid and proposal development.
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador when interacting with clients, attending professional networking events, and using social media and publishing articles.
Requirements
  • Strong construction industry experience in cost, quantum, expert, and claims assessment matters.
  • Extensive experience working on claims, claims management, and cost analysis.
  • Preferably experience working on international projects (including APAC and Middle East).
  • Demonstrable experience in using quantum analysis principles and in prolongation, disruption, and general costs claims as part of claims submission process.
  • Ability to lead delivery initiatives and manage clients in the course of undertaking commissions.
  • Demonstrable experience in working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction management, or related fields.
