Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex backup and restore issues using Veritas NetBackup.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of SAN structure, data protector file systems backup, and database integration.
  • Migrate backup infrastructure across data centres, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Implement data replication and duplication strategies across data centres, on-premises, and cloud environments, including NetBackup Appliance and Veritas NetBackup Hybrid Backup solution.
  • Collaborate with cloud teams to integrate cloud infrastructure with backup solutions, with a preference for Microsoft Azure.
  • Manage NetBackup workloads deployed on Microsoft Azure Cloud instances.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in data centre backup and storage solutions.
  • Advanced expertise in troubleshooting, restore, backup, tape management using Veritas NetBackup.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and its integration with backup solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with teams.
