About the Role

HiTech Group is seeking a skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead test automation for high-impact digital solutions in an innovative Federal Government Department.

This 18-month contract offers an optional 18-month extension, making it a stable and long-term opportunity. You will drive best practices in test automation across cloud platforms, mobile applications, and CRM portals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and recommend test automation technologies and frameworks for backend and UI components.
  • Design and implement effective and maintainable automation frameworks prioritising accessibility.
  • Develop and oversee automation code to integrate with Scrum workflows and the CI/CD pipeline.
Requirements
  • Expert-level proficiency in automation testing, test frameworks, and CI/CD across various tools.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a senior test automation role with autonomy.
  • Bachelor or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Salary and Benefits
