Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to lead the continuing improvement of clinical and community nursing care at the Department of Health, Tasmania. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for driving quality improvement activities, undertaking effective research, and developing education packages and training strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and practice reviews
  • Develop and deliver education packages and training strategies for nursing staff
  • Drive quality improvement activities and undertake effective research to improve clinical service outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and endorsed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Proven experience in leading clinical teams and driving quality improvement initiatives
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement evidence-based practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
