The TASMANIAN HEALTH SERVICE is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to lead the continuing improvement of clinical and community nursing care at the New Norfolk District Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity to undertake clinical guideline and practice review, develop education packages and training strategies, and to lead and mentor in a small and welcoming community environment.
The successful applicant will be required to meet the essential criteria, including being registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and endorsed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
About the TeamThe New Norfolk District Hospital provides 14 sub-acute beds and comprises radiology, physiotherapy, podiatry, community health, mental health services, child health services, and visiting consultants.
The team is dynamic and innovative, with a great staff culture and a dedicated team making a real difference.
About the PositionThis is a permanent, part-time, shift-worker position working 53.2 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
The salary is $139,948 (pro-rata) per annum, with an employer 11.5% superannuation contribution on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits, including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
EligibilitySuccessful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria, including being registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and endorsed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
