About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Mercy Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care to residents, utilising a holistic approach to meet their individual needs.
  • Supervise and lead a team of carers and nurses, promoting a culture of excellence and respect.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring resident-centred care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience working in residential aged care, with a strong understanding of person-centred care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations, prioritising resident needs and safety.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practice and industry developments.
