About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Mercy Health, providing high-quality care to our aged care residents.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred care, utilising a holistic approach to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.

You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, resident-focused care, utilising a person-centred approach
  • Supervise and lead a team of carers and nurses, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Conduct assessments, treatment, and documentation to the highest standard
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Excellent time management, organisational, and communication skills
  • A compassionate, flexible, and positive approach
  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or be in the process of obtaining:

  • A recognised tertiary qualification and current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated experience working in Residential Aged Care
  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
