Project Finance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in Perth, Australia.

As a Project Finance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting project teams locally and nationally. You will build relationships with Project Managers, Commercial Managers, and Corporate Finance while being part of a large group of like-minded professionals across Australia.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Making project accounting recommendations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitoring project budgets and investigating any variances
  • Interpreting financial information to support project management and commercial decisions
  • Championing data integrity and ensuring accurate financial information is recorded in the ERP
  • Assisting with subcontractor engagements
  • Preparing and submitting invoices to clients
  • Managing multiple projects of varying values at any given time
  • Attending project-related meetings to inform the team regarding the status of project financials, articulating problem projects, and following up on any identified actions as discussed

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude, is consultative, able to prioritise their work, and get things done. Some of your experience will include:

  • 1-3 years of project finance administration experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Joint Venture and Alliance experience will be highly regarded
