We have a friendly and supportive team where everyone contributes ideas and drives outcomes. As a Risk Governance Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing internal risk reports and external risk disclosures to ensure their effectiveness and accuracy.

You will play an integral part in contributing to a range of governance activities and change initiatives to support key elements of Macquarie's Risk Management Framework across all financial and non-financial risk types, including in relation to our Risk Appetite Statement and Risk Management Strategy.

Your work will involve working alongside stakeholders across various functions, providing an opportunity to build networks across Macquarie's Risk Management Group.

What You'll Need
  • Experience in risk management, legal, banking or financial services, with an understanding of the banking and financial services regulatory environment.
  • Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to consider the bigger picture.
  • Ability to analyse, evaluate information and draw key insights.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Agile, proactive and organised to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, previous experience in risk reporting is advantageous.
