Visual Merchandiser Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and the ability to effectively implement in-store displays and presentations.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing store displays, maintaining brand standards, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This includes planning floor moves, executing visual merchandise, and providing support to store teams as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and Execute Visual Merchandise: Develop and implement effective visual merchandising strategies to maximize sales opportunities and maintain brand standards.
  • Maintain Brand Standards: Ensure that all visual displays and presentations adhere to company standards, promoting a cohesive brand image across all locations.
  • Support Store Teams: Collaborate with store staff to provide training and development opportunities related to visual merchandising.
  • Build Relationships: Establish strong relationships with key personnel at Myer and David Jones, providing training on VM and Country Road standards as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a comparable visual merchandising role within apparel-based divisions.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.
  • Autonomy and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business results and ability to make informed decisions based on data.
  • Style and Presentation: Experience in the retail industry, with an acute sense of personal style and presentation.
