Support Clients with Compassion and Empowerment

Cerebral Palsy Alliance is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Disability Support Practitioner in Allambie Heights, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with disabilities to develop and maintain independence, advocate for their individual needs, and provide personalized support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support clients to develop and maintain independence and advocate for their individual needs.
  • Deliver personalized support by assisting clients with daily living activities, including mealtimes, personal care, and medication administration.
  • Transport clients in our wheelchair-accessible vans and pool cars.
  • Monitor the well-being of clients and report on their progress.
  • Work collaboratively with a dynamic and supportive team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of people with disabilities.
  • Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts, as well as weekend and public holiday shifts.
  • Experience supporting clients with intellectual disabilities, high physical support needs, and medical/health needs.
  • A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum).
  • Local to the North Shore.
