About the RoleThis exciting opportunity will see you working with clients who require support with daily living activities, personal care, and transportation. As a Disability Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to our clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Support clients to develop and maintain independence and advocate for their individual needs.
- Deliver personalized support by assisting clients with daily living activities, personal care, and administering medication.
- Transport clients in our wheelchair-accessible vans and pool cars.
- Monitor the well-being of clients and report on their progress.
- Work collaboratively with a dynamic and supportive team.
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of our clients.
- Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Experience supporting clients with intellectual disability, high physical support needs, and medical/health needs.
- Current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum).
- Local to the North Shore.
- Attractive hourly rate + Super + Penalty Rates.
- $100 per year Well-being Allowance to treat yourself.
