Our NSW team provides a variety of services, including cost management and quantity surveying, advisory, engineering services cost management, asset depreciation, contract advice, and more. We predominantly work in sectors such as commercial offices, industrial, infrastructure, aged care, education, clubs, and roads and rail.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Capital Allowances Expert to join our client-focused consulting team in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in Quantity Surveying, property depreciation, asset registers, and financial advisory services, demonstrating a proactive approach to the role.

The Capital Allowances Expert will be responsible for delivering innovative service solutions for asset, property, and facilities management, as well as providing practical and professional advice to clients. A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and good commercial results is essential.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Years of demonstrated experience within the Quantity Surveying, Capital Allowances field
  • Reliable knowledge of Australian tax legislation
  • Experience preparing reports
  • Experience with asset registers and method of measurement
  • Lifecycle costing experience
  • Depreciation schedules / Stamp Duty calculations
  • Project estimate experience for various phases of a project
  • Understanding of design principles and solutions in buildings, including site knowledge
  • Engineering services estimates experience
  • Ability to complete estimates based on incomplete design documentation
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated desire and interest in leading, training others, and progressing in their career
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish strong working relationships
  • Significant working experience in Australia
  • Eligible working rights in Australia

The Capital Allowances Expert will be responsible for tasks including but not limited to:

  • Depreciation Schedules
  • Procurement and professional advice for successful project outcomes
  • Management to meet deadlines within fee budgets
  • Feasibility Studies
  • Cost control – planning, forecasting, and estimation
