Job Description

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as a Strategic Finance Business Partner. This role will provide strategic financial advice to support decision-making across the organisation, analyse financial performance and identify opportunities for growth and cost optimisation.

The successful applicant will have relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or a related field, professional membership with a recognised accounting body, strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.

This is a mid-senior level position offering a competitive salary package, fixed-term contract with opportunities for career progression, collaborative and professional company culture, conveniently located in Brisbane with hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic financial advice to support decision-making across the organisation.
  • Analyse financial performance and identify opportunities for growth and cost optimisation.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and implement financial strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed financial reports and forecasts.
  • Support budgeting processes and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
  • Offer financial insights to assist in risk management and compliance adherence.
  • Drive process improvements within the accounting and finance function.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and external partners.

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • Professional membership with a recognised accounting body (e.g., CPA or CA).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience in the business services industry or a similar field.
  • Knowledge of financial compliance and regulatory requirements in Australia.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
