The Disability Support Worker is an integral member of our team, providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals with disabilities.
Main Responsibilities:- Become a key figure in the lives of participants by building strong relationships and delivering personalized care according to tailored routines.
- Administer medication and transport participants to and from appointments, ensuring seamless logistical arrangements.
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement developmental programs, capturing comprehensive reports on progress.
- Holding a valid Working with Children Check (for paid employment)
- A current NDIS Worker Check
- A first aid certification that remains up-to-date
- A national police check
- A driver's license with a minimum P2 endorsement
- A vehicle capable of transporting four or more people
- Comprehensive car insurance coverage
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- An ability to work a 7-day roster without exception
- Willingness to participate in pre-employment medical assessments
- Two professional references available upon request
