Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in shaping the service delivery of our residential aged care residence amidst significant change in the aged care sector.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise and contribute to continuous improvement aligned with the Aged Care Standards and associated requirements.

The successful candidate will assist our homes in maintaining 100% compliance within the Quality Standards, including demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the aged care sector, accreditation, auditing, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • AHPRA registration (RN) is mandatory for this position.
  • At least 3 years aged care experience, preferably in a quality role, is required.
  • You should have a proven understanding of quality, compliance & clinical governance, as well as solid knowledge of the Aged Care accreditation process.
  • Expertise in quality assurance & auditing processes, including the ability to learn new systems and technologies easily, is essential.
  • Continuous improvement, gap & risk analysis experience is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication & leadership skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • You will also be responsible for coordinating, educating, and mentoring clinical staff.
