Electrical Training Mentor Position

We seek a dedicated and enthusiastic mentor with an Electrical trade background to support students and apprentices.

This role involves working alongside a qualified Trade Trainer while obtaining your Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, assisting in the delivery of high-quality training in the Electrotechnology Trades.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide practical guidance and training milestones to students studying the Certificate II in Electrotechnology.
  • Utilize industry knowledge and skills to instill in students the importance of maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe workplace.
  • Ensure all equipment for student use is kept in good and safe operational condition.
  • Assist Trainer with daily activities throughout their training through Student management and expectations.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Trade qualification/Trade certificate and Industry Currency in the Electrical industry.
  • Be able to engage, inspire and support students throughout their learning journey.
  • Agree to complete the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have a moderate level of computer skills (MS Word and Excel).
