Senior Governance and Reporting Specialist

This is a high-level role that involves providing strategic governance and reporting support to the Executive Director.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing oversight of governance, reporting and administrative functions across the section. They will implement governance, reporting and administrative processes and protocols as needed to ensure senior management are supported to meet required obligations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating briefings for key Boards and Committees for the Executive Director
  • Developing governance materials and assisting with the management of actions
  • Maintaining and coordinating corporate reports and risk registers
  • Organising workshops and materials, and engaging with stakeholders to support the development of successful governance and business improvement outcomes
  • Developing innovative and improved business reporting
  • Providing quality assurance to reports and papers by working with content experts
  • Consulting and liaising with, and providing guidance to, the section's secretariat network and senior management team on governance and reporting matters
  • Organising associated materials and equipment for senior management meetings, divisional governance bodies and networks including meeting scheduling, agendas, and minutes

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, and be able to work in a dynamic team environment. They will also have a strong understanding of governance and reporting principles, and be able to provide high-level advice and support to the Executive Director.
