Job Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of the project delivery team, you will work closely with customers to deploy, configure and support mission critical software that makes the power grid safer, greener and more resilient.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers to define project requirements through effective communication and application of engineering and product expertise.
  • Design, build, integrate, test and commission power utility SCADA systems for energy transmission, generation or distribution utilities.
  • Perform thorough testing and resolve identified issues during factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT) and regression testing involving product, infrastructure and communications.
  • Support the troubleshooting and continual improvement of our capability, including local staging and IT infrastructure, as well as delivery, training and support processes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field of engineering with over 3 years of experience in the electric utility industry and project experiences in automation / SCADA.
  • Strong technical background in automation and computers with knowledge of C/C++, Python, relational databases, HTML and XML.
  • Fundamental understanding of networking and operating systems to perform troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work on several projects in parallel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
