Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Configuration Manager to support the development and maintenance of ICT systems for a Federal Government client based in Canberra.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with developers and engineers to identify and define Configuration Items.
  • Generate and maintain Configuration Item structures for Client's Products.
  • Advise Product Teams and Executives on change management and version control.
  • Conduct audits of configuration and technical data to support product releases.
  • Compile technical data packages to baseline products as part of release processes.
  • Support Product Teams with information management practices for technical data.
  • Maintain Configuration and Technical Data Management policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Diploma in ICT or related discipline.
  • Configuration management of ICT systems in accordance with recognized standards.
  • Proficiency in contemporary ICT configuration management tools and databases.
  • Experience with information management tools and repositories.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with Atlassian suite of applications (e.g. Jira, Confluence).
  • Configuration management within software development environments.
  • Configuration or information management within client organizations.
Security Clearance
  • Must be an Australian citizen with NV1 security clearance or higher.
