Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead the National Disability Data Asset project. This is a temporary SES Band 1 role that will commence in October 2024 and may be extended to 31 December 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a high-profile program, determining and being accountable for objectives, priorities, and task allocation.
  • Represent the department at high-level discussions and negotiations with key stakeholders and outside organizations.
  • Develop and implement effective program design and management strategies to achieve project goals.
Cultural Competency

This position requires cultural competency to understand the matters impacting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples and to communicate sensitively and effectively with them.

Eligibility and Requirements
  • Only permanent APS employees are eligible to apply for this role.
  • The successful candidate must be an Australian citizen and obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.
  • The candidate must also be willing to disclose all relevant and required information to fulfill the pre-employment screening process.
