The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Strategist to join our Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Providing in-depth analysis of monthly operating results, including explanations and data to facilitate consolidated management reporting
  • Working capital analysis and cash flow reporting to ensure the organization's financial stability
  • Preparing monthly management reports and value-added analyses to inform business choices
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand the impact of forecast changes and improve outcomes
  • Supporting the Finance Business Partner in responding to queries from project managers with a proactive and solutions-based approach
  • Analyzing trends across departments to identify areas for improvement

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least two years of experience in creating financial strategies, projections, and budgets. Other qualifications include:

  • CA or CPA qualification or part-qualified CA/CPA
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, or Finance
  • Previous financial experience, with 2-5 years of experience in financial roles
  • Background in business analysis, management reporting, and decision support
  • Strong time management skills, with a track record of executing tasks in a timely manner
  • Proficient working knowledge of Excel
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with previous experience dealing with stakeholders inside and outside of Finance
