Job Title: Medical Assistant
The Pharmacy Technician role is an exciting opportunity to work under the supervision of a Pharmacist, providing patient care and delivering exceptional customer service. As a key member of our dispensary team, you will be responsible for receiving prescriptions from customers, ensuring all required information is present, and dispatching them according to pharmacy protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process prescriptions by verifying patient details, checking medication orders, and labeling items correctly.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacist on administrative tasks, such as Medicare claiming, prescription management, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, restocking shelves according to pharmacist instructions.
  • Contribute to stocktakes, assist with non-clinical duties within your capacity and qualifications.
  • Utilize computer systems to manage customer profiles, dispense prescriptions, and oversee inventory operations.

Requirements:
  • Ambitious and detail-oriented individual with experience in pharmacy or healthcare settings, supplemented by relevant training or education.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in teams, communicate professionally with patients and staff.
