Job Opportunity: Medical Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technician to join our team. The role involves performing diagnostic tests, operating medical equipment and ensuring accurate results for patient care.

  • Deliver high-quality first aid and emergency medical services to employees.
  • Coordinate injury management, workers' compensation, and external provider interactions.
  • Conduct health examinations and provide nursing services to support employee wellness.
  • Prepare and maintain records of accidents, health histories, and injuries.
  • Manage inventory of EMS equipment and supplies.
  • Assist with drug and alcohol testing at the worksite.
  • Monitor health-related issues such as water quality, food preparation, and living area safety.

The technician will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to diagnose and monitor medical conditions. Key responsibilities include providing first aid, coordinating injury management, educating employees on health and illness prevention, and maintaining equipment inventory.

Key Requirements:
  • A strong foundation in laboratory procedures, patient care, and diagnostic testing.
  • Attention to detail with proficiency in medical equipment and sample analysis.

Applicants must possess at least five years of experience as a Medical Technician, relevant Australian certification or license, and current CPR certification. Relocation to Alice Springs, Australia is also required for contract duration.
