Financial Integration Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the financial integration of acquired businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transition financial reporting for acquired entities from cash basis to accrual basis accounting, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Standardize and align financial statements of newly acquired companies with accounting policies.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial data and insights to key stakeholders in support of valuation and due diligence efforts.
  • Manage month-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee core monthly accounting functions for acquired businesses such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, BAS, and superannuation payments.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and manage the allocation of payments and receipts across multiple accounts using Xero.
  • Assist in the migration and implementation of accounting software and ERP systems, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.
Requirements:
  • CA/CPA qualified with a strong foundation in financial and management accounting.
  • Hands-on experience with Xero and other accounting/ERP systems.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
