Job Title: Data Integration Specialist

This role involves managing and supporting critical data integration platforms, with a primary focus on Sterling and Informatica. The successful candidate will ensure the stability, resilience, and continuous improvement of production services, working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and vendors.

The Data Integration Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the performance, reliability, and availability of supported platforms. They will also own and manage incident resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive measures for critical services.

Liaising with vendor support and internal infrastructure teams for escalations and patching is another key responsibility of this role. The specialist will participate in Change Management and ensure risk-mitigated deployments into production.

Maintaining and improving monitoring, alerting, and runbooks to support operational excellence is also an essential part of this position. Collaborating with project teams to support solution design, onboarding of new integrations, and production readiness is required.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Sterling (File Gateway / B2B Integrator) – configuration, issue resolution, performance tuning. Solid experience in Informatica (PowerCenter and/or Informatica Cloud) – including mappings, workflows, and administration is also necessary.

A strong understanding of file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, AS2) and large-volume file handling is required. Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys), monitoring (e.g., AppDynamics, Splunk), and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) is also preferred.

Familiarity with banking/financial services IT environments, security standards, and change control processes is essential.

The Data Integration Specialist will work in a hybrid environment, providing flexibility and autonomy while maintaining collaboration and teamwork.

This contract is available for an initial 6-month term with likely extension on a long-term project.
