Clinical Team Leader

Foster exceptional care in a collaborative environment as our ideal candidate oversees the combined Dietetics and Speech Pathology team.
The successful candidate will ensure top-tier service delivery, overseeing the operations of the department, and mentoring staff to promote excellence and growth.
- Provide expert opinion on assessment and treatment for residents with speech, language, swallowing, and communication needs.
- Support the Dietitians alongside the Senior Dietitian to optimize nutritional status.
- Mentor, supervise, and support professionals to foster a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership Capabilities: Management, strategic planning, project implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Clinical Expertise: Assessment and treatment for residents with speech, language, swallowing, and communication needs.
- Professional Development: Training, coaching, and mentoring to support staff role development and clinical innovation.
Requirements:
- A degree in Speech Pathology and relevant professional registration.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in the discipline, with an additional 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, well-developed time management, and organizational abilities.
- Prior knowledge and experience working in a health or aged care setting, with knowledge supporting consumers with dementia or cognitive decline.
