Job Title: Geotechnical Laboratory Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our geotechnical laboratory team in a dynamic and challenging environment.

  • Oversee daily laboratory operations ensuring tests comply with relevant standards.
  • Maintain accreditation requirements and manage audits effectively.
  • Supervise test scheduling and execution for soils, aggregates, concrete, and other construction materials.
  • Deliver accurate and timely results while upholding quality control standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and train laboratory staff to maintain technical competency.
  • Evaluate staff skills and certifications to ensure efficient performance.
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure reliable data.
  • Oversee equipment calibration and maintenance to ensure testing accuracy.
  • Promote a culture of safety within the laboratory and adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and deliver reports accurately and on time.
  • Manage laboratory supplies, consumables, and equipment procurement efficiently.
  • Optimize resource allocation for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Stay updated on new test methods, standards, and technology advancements.
Key Requirements:
  • Degree in Laboratory Operations or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical and construction materials testing.
  • Proficiency in conducting various laboratory tests and operating relevant equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.
