We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Environmental Services Associate to join our dynamic team. As an Environmental Services Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
Located on the fringe of Newcastle, close to beaches and the Hunter Valley, Hunter Valley Private Hospital is an 83-bed facility offering a variety of surgical, medical, and rehabilitation services. Our hospital prides itself on exceptional patient satisfaction scores and is a referrer of choice due to the excellent care patients receive.
The successful candidate will have experience in hospital/hotel cleaning, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team. A current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (or willingness to attain) is also essential.
The salary for this position is approximately **$60,000 - $70,000 per annum**, depending on experience. We offer flexible rostering and a positive work-life balance, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
This role involves:
- Delivering excellent customer service to staff, clients, and patients
- Delivering, serving, and collecting all patient food requirements and meal trays
- Assisting in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
- Cleaning and maintaining utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital and industry food safety and hygiene standards
- Providing a high standard of cleaning services
- Operating in line with infection control standards and WHS policy and procedures
