Position Overview

The Supervisor Liaison Officer plays a crucial role in the realm of General Practice (GP) training, focusing on the operational aspects of GP training programs. This part-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of GP training within the Murrumbidgee and ACT regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advocacy: Represent the interests of GP supervisors involved in the training programs, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Support: Provide guidance and mentorship to supervisors, drawing on your extensive experience in the field.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with regional teams, the Practice Manager Liaison Officer, and the Registrar Liaison Officer to foster a supportive training environment.
  • Quality Improvement: Partner with management to identify and implement enhancements to the training practice environment.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong communication and advocacy skills essential for effective interaction with stakeholders.
  • Current accreditation as a GP Supervisor.
  • Qualifications as a registered general practitioner.
