Job Title: Community Development Coordinator
Role OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our Community Corrections team as a Community Development Coordinator. As part of this role, you will be responsible for delivering intervention programs and services to reduce reoffending, change behaviour, and support the wellbeing of individuals under Court ordered community supervision.
You will work closely with offenders, their families, and non-government organisations to provide support and connection to relevant services and supports in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective intervention programs to address individual needs and promote positive change.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and connect individuals with relevant services and supports.
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives to reduce reoffending and improve community outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on program activities and outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social work, psychology, or criminology.
- Proven experience in community development, case management, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
