Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

As a cloud infrastructure specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining, monitoring, and enhancing our Citrix environments. This position is crucial for ensuring the performance and reliability of our on-premise infrastructure and hybrid cloud resources.

You will proactively manage day-to-day operations, resolve issues, and contribute to a stable and efficient end-user computing experience for our entire organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform day-to-day monitoring, patching, performance tuning, and health checks of the Citrix environment.
  • Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve Citrix-related issues for end-users and IT teams.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure a cohesive and stable IT environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of Citrix environments, configurations, and changes for operational transparency and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure adherence to security best practices, data protection, and licensing requirements within the Citrix estate.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Citrix technologies, features, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of risk management frameworks and compliance metrics.
  • Operate within the standards of our Code of Conduct.

To be successful in this role, you should have solid understanding and practical experience supporting Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops environments (administration, configuration, daily maintenance, and troubleshooting).

Additionally, you should have experience with SCCM and Windows 10/11 image provisioning for AWS WorkSpaces Core and Citrix MCS deployments.

Proficiency in maintaining user profile management solutions such as Citrix UPM, CPM, and Microsoft FSLogix is also essential.

Further, strong Windows Server Systems Administration skills, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management (WSUS/SCCM) are required.

Proficient in scripting and automation tools, particularly PowerShell, is also an advantage.
