Description

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting. This includes managing the month-end close process, preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS, and leading or supporting group consolidations in multi-entity, multi-currency environments.

This is a hybrid role that offers the perfect balance of hands-on accounting, stakeholder engagement, and opportunities to lead process improvements in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the month-end close process, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS.
  • Lead or support group consolidations in multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
  • Partner with external auditors to ensure smooth, efficient audit processes.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with financial policies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide financial insights and analysis.
  • Contribute to process improvement projects, including ERP enhancements.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to guide decision-making.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce, and hold a CA ANZ or CPA qualification. A minimum of 3 years' experience in public practice, including 2+ years in a large-firm audit environment, is also required. At least 1 year of commercial accounting experience in a corporate/industry role is preferred.

  • Advanced Excel skills with comfort handling large datasets.
  • Sharp attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication.
  • Proven ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
