Commercial Strategy Leader

The role involves implementing a pricing excellence framework to increase the long-term value of our products and services. As a key member of our team, you will lead commercial strategy and implementation across our full product portfolio while keeping up to date on market trends.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead commercial strategy and implementation across our full product portfolio while keeping up to date on market trends.
  • Support the implementation of commercial enablers (i.e. market segmentation).
  • Identify margin leakage root causes and examine current sales and marketing approaches to propose target prices.
  • Review, model, implement, and monitor commercial processes.
  • Lead monthly steering committees to ensure leadership awareness and input on projects, key decisions, and monitoring of KPIs.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify insights and prepare forecasting scenarios.
  • Coach various teams on commercial best practice.
  • Maintain and manage analytics tools to drive data-driven decision making.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar commercial role within a large, corporate environment.
  • Strong business analysis skills and experience in data management and analysis.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Economics, and/or Marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing various commercial strategies (including dynamic and value-based pricing).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
