At EIL Global, we are seeking a proactive Junior Desktop and Network Support Specialist to join our part-time team based in Brisbane. As a vital member of our support team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless IT operations by providing exceptional desktop and network support.

This role demands a strong approach to troubleshooting and an eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic IT environment. You will work closely with the IT team to deploy, image, and reimage desktops and laptops, ensuring quick rollouts and optimal network performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support to desktop users and ensure effective troubleshooting of issues promptly
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of network infrastructure to guarantee business continuity
  • Utilize remote desktop software to resolve support incidents efficiently and enhance user experience
  • Manage user accounts and security settings via Active Directory, maintaining enterprise security standards
  • Perform regular maintenance and repair of hardware, ensuring readiness and functionality

Required Skills:

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for Windows OS
  • Experience in Active Directory management
  • Proficiency in remote desktop software like TeamViewer
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
  • Competence in network configuration and diagnostics
  • Experience in hardware repair and maintenance
  • Familiarity with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)
  • Skills in imaging and reimaging desktop systems
