Wall and Floor Tiling Apprenticeship Opportunity

This apprenticeship provides hands-on experience and formal training towards a Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling.

You will learn every aspect of the trade, from surface preparation and precision tile cutting to grouting, sealing, and finishing.

  • Carry and handle tiles, adhesives, and other heavy materials.
  • Measure, mark, and prepare surfaces for tiling.
  • Lay tiles with precision, ensuring accuracy in alignment and spacing.
  • Cut and shape tiles using hand and power tools.
  • Mix and apply grout, sealants, and adhesives.
  • Clean and maintain work areas and tools.
  • Assist with demolition, removal of old tiles, and surface preparation.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a tidy, organised work environment.

  • Able to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
  • Great attention to detail and someone who takes pride in their work.
  • Ability to remain calm and patient when solving problems.
  • Physically strong and fit for daily manual labour.
  • Good time management and a strong work ethic.
  • Eager to learn and committed to completing the 4-year apprenticeship.
