
Property Asset Leader

The Property Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for leading the property team with asset management strategies, maintenance supervision, and property acquisition and development.
This position involves developing and maintaining an asset maintenance plan for each property, overseeing and managing the acquisition and/or development of new assets according to agreed contractual arrangements, building strong, trusted relationships with co-operatives through effective and regular communications, and establishing a property inspection program on a three yearly cycle and conducting inspections when required.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain asset maintenance plans to ensure optimal property performance
- Oversee the acquisition and/or development of new assets in accordance with organizational goals and objectives
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve mutual benefits
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Liaise with contractors to ensure efficient and timely work completion at agreed costs and standards
- Lead and manage a team to achieve strategic goals and objectives
- 5 years minimum experience in maintenance planning, asset development, costing and delivery
- At least 2 years in a management role in a relevant field undertaking staff supervision, budgeting, involvement in quality management systems and performance reporting
- Team management or supervision experience
- A commitment to working collaboratively and taking a proactive problem-solving approach
