The role of Engagement and Development Officer is an exciting opportunity to build connections with past pupils, promote the mission and life of the school, and strengthen relationships across generations.
This dynamic position requires a mix of skills in engagement, relationship building, marketing, and development. The ideal candidate will thrive on meaningful conversations, have a gift for making others feel valued, and be passionate about connecting people through innovative events and celebrations.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the first point of contact for past pupils, encouraging them to reconnect and engage with the school.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive program of events, celebrations, and networking opportunities to increase and strengthen past pupil connections to the school.
- Create effective communication strategies for past pupil engagement, including web and email communication, print and online publications.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote giving opportunities and outcomes, and feature alumni through storytelling and publications.
- Identify prospects who have affinity, capability, and interest to give, and research potential donors.
- Hold a current Working with Children Clearance (Blue Card).
- Have approval to work in Australia.
- Have or maintain the appropriate clearances, qualifications or registrations required to perform the inherent functions of the role.
- A commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic education in the Mercy tradition.

- Contribute to the empowerment of young women through education and leadership.
